Elsewhere on another forum..... The reset glitch occurred to someone after a year I believe. The reset does not seem to cure the issue.

How the heck does it know the case is still open? Are the alarm springs (2?) completing a circuit to the alarm itself on the case back to close the circuit? I have never known of a G that would let...

Between this model resetting and the Rangeman experiencing some broken/snapped lugs, it may be best to stick with the good old reliable models.
