Yes, i make coffee using this pot, but not the "over the campfire" method.
I use a filter on top of this pot and let the boiling water run through the filter.

I like the beefy 2016 battery in it. I have to exchange the battery only every 10 years or so. :)

This model is on clearance for a while and since its a positive LCD i couldnt resist.... :)
