My trusty Orient.

Bought it new in 1977. $75. Most reliable mechanical watch I've ever owned.
Hi guys,
Hugs and best wishes to all who have had bad times recently. My thoughts are with you. I'm still here, although have also had my share of potentially serious health challenges, and the...

Terrific photos of your beautiful area. I can visualize your location now when I'm listening to your music. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! Seiko's first calc watch from ~1978. Had a few features that the Pulsar LED calc watch of that era didn't have. I've had it for decades, but wear it sparingly. No water or shock resistance...
OK, in celebration of my possible nerdiness (nerdette-iness) in areas other than movie songs (and to gently steer back on topic), my afternoon watch will be:

C153-5007.
;)
Geez....I don't think I can recall *any* movie with Mr. Blue Sky in it. Not much of a nerd, eh?
Mr. Blue Sky.
Happy New Year, everyone. I hope the coming year brings you all good things.

As some of you might remember (or gratefully forgotten), the holiday season is mostly dominated by my vintage LED collection. So for today, a Birks-brand LED sporting a Fairchild module inside. My...
Hope you feel better soon. :)
I wore this old thing all last week at work:

Then overnight Monday into Tuesday, we got hammered with 16" of snow (in an area that gets paralyzed with 2") Airports closed, buses, ferries...
OK...I've been AWOL a bit recently, and didn't know (or forgot) you had this one, but holy kwap that's nice. :-!
For another lazy day off:

Back to work tomorrow. Not sure what I'll wear for the week....

Recycled pics, sorry.

M158-5009 Pan Am, from 1977.
Gosh that's nice. Even the name is cool.
90s Sea Wolf for today, and probably tomorrow as well. Date is set on 31 so I won't have to mess with it in the morning. Aren't I clever? :rolleyes2:

I love this image.
Super easy. Unscrew the battery hatch and pop in a new 2430 battery. Or order a battery replacement kit (new battery, hatch, o-ring), same procedure. Reset the watch and recallibrate the compass....
My ancient-but-trusty Suunto Vector for a rare snowy day here.

I think maybe I'll pass on this one. The observatory is closed up for the season, and I did the forest trails thing last time with Bob. Not really the best time of year to take pics out...
