    Yes, thanks. I ended up buying that second one from the top yesterday afternoon.It'll do till I find a more permanent solution.

    The modern CC is a wonderful watch, I know that I waxed lyrical about mine at the time.
    On the subject of rubber straps, I have one on a 300m Diver, with a Rado clasp, and it is very comfortable. Not sure why they haven't given this as an option for the CC.

    Check Zodiac. They have very nice tropic straps. I think this is the Synchron company. https://tropicstrap.com/straps/

    My experience with different tropic strap brands is limited, but I agree that the Zodiac are very good.

    Aquastar make 21mm Tropic straps too. They're part of Synchron too so but the straps/buckle is branded Aquastar

    Thanks for the help gents, I've ordered one from straphabit, so I now have a couple of options, hopefully the Rado buckle will be interchangeable.
