I've seen a lot of them on Watch Recon. I think there's a used one on the bracelet for $3800 on WUS.

in fairness some time it's the lighting in the pics I still think touched up dial and the hands even thou right type wrong lume ) and the contrast is too sharp so it has had work done in my eyes
The very early ones left the factory with no lume on identical hands, so I'd be surprised if that bit is hooky. The inner dial and caseback are thus consistent. I've dug around a dozen or so on the specialist bits of a couple of forums and it all looks spot on to me for an early version. However, I have great respect for the practised eye and so I'm wide open to being convinced as these are far from my specialist subject. I'm always up for an education.

However, if you look at this one, you can see that the outer and inner vary considerably in the light:

still think they have come from two watches same make but as the fading normal matches evenly when you look at them so as I said think the movement dial and hands came from a different one and was dropped into that case .. it would no be surprising at all if this is the case one working but damaged one not working but decent con so becomes one working watch ..we have all done it that or the dial has been touched up as it just does not gel for me

but it stays uninformed through out they match the contrast on the one before was sharp and different ( but as I said from the start it could be the lighting of the shot ) so depend when it arrives and when they are both next to each other with the none working one .... as when you look at them in general most are the same with the light blue ..when looking for pics and you only see a few with the dark blue and remember with old Russian watch the different pics could be of the same watch (where you may think it's different )

take me and kath we have had the same watch but if others all looking at it they could think it two different example of a watch ,,when in reality it;s just one not that it matter just would have pick any one but that one from what pics are on show ,,,

and suppose down to taste too but I like the conformity on the other ones of the colour for me the dark blue /light blue match i dislike .. if it had all bean dark blue so be it but such a contrast to me says can't have been together for long ... if it had been N.O.S stock then yeah maybe there would have been a sharp colour contrast till used and being in natural light ... but just for me I would have skip it by choice unless for parts needed then if the price was right who cares

I've got to say it looks like lighting to me. However, I'm no expert on these. I guess we'll find out in a week or two.

yeah mean I could be wrong just got it in my head they did one with a light blue inside and a light blue edge and then they did one with a darker blue inside and a darker blue edge so from that point of thought I felt the inner dial was the lighter blue one and the out dial was the other one. hence the whole cut and shunt of the it being two watches to my mind same make and everything just them not starting of in the same case
