My local liquor store has discontinued Tin Cup, so I've been downing a lot of that on the cheap It is a Colorado blended whiskey, warm and mellow undertones from the corn with a lot of the woody spice of rye.

Just bought a little taster pack of Penderyn to get me through the period.

BTW, Hitting the Nikka again, I reckon there're some bourbon barrels involved in there somewhere if you like that sort of thing.

Saw this on the shelf today, and just snapped it up on zero info aside from the label. Price was right, and I hadn't shopped in Islay for too long.

I am pleasantly surprised. Good peat/smoke on the nose, but lots of ripe floral notes on the palette. Worthy of space on the shelf!
It is now my duty to completely drain you.
