Awesome Story, Beautiful watch and great photograph Dav!..
i've been lurking here like a cat for a while since when i want to get some info for my first Chinese watch (intended as my one and Only)..
when i got my Beijing, i was stunned by how nice these chinese mechanical and i GOT HOOKED BIG TIME!
and since then my admiration continue to grow..
that 55 is just gorgeous... i personally always love a watch with a story... that is a stunning keeper for sure...
on a side note, i also thankful i have a very kind in laws.. my father and mother inlaw has been supportive and very understanding to me since i was dating my wife... i'm very thankful for them..

now i'm gonna give my beijing some wrist time! hehe..

Thanks for your comments lyonk and yes family is everything.
And yes pepperami it was inspired by tom, he is one of my favourite musicians and that song one of my favourites .

Yes still have it and wear it but not in a regular rotation , just on special occasions and when out with the family as it is a more sentimental watch (to me) . It's very accurate and I've had no problems at all , and would recommend buying from jun.
