Good day, IWL. It's Friday, finally.

I'm afraid it's another Longines, today...

Haven't been on here for a while. Just returned from a little getaway to Long Beach and Tofino here on the island. Three watches came along for the ride, with two of them doing surfing duty:

Saw hundreds of these critters: Velella Velella.

Related to the Portuguese Man 'O War; I"ve been coming to Long Beach since 1970 and had never encountered these. Got stung when I laid an arm on a tentacle on the sand to get a closeup pic, but their sting is pretty mild.

Still loving the SkyHawk, so it will be my Saturday watch again.

    Have a great weekend, everyone.

    Thanks a lot, Iyonk.

Your Beijing has a very clean and classic look.

Thanks, C. Internet is pretty flaky in the town of Tofino, so apart from checking time-sensitive emails, I try to avoid online activities. Besides...the beaches and ocean are so lovely, we spend all our time there and have very little time for posting anyway.

Wrist sharing Sinn and Damasko (both Iyonkified - Damasko picture is older))

Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Been wearing the Soleure all week. Very manageable for a 42mm watch due to the lug shape. Haven't been swapping out much because I keep hoping today will be the day I get my new watch. Been in customs since Monday.
