Back in 2008 when things were bad, I couldn't imagine owning one of these things. Sometimes when I take watches out of the box and just hold them it reminds me how lucky and how fortunate I am. Took this pic last night and posted it in the Show your watch and folder thread but took a little effort to get it right in a group shot so thought it was worth using here today because I really like the way it came out and it has my other two little hobbies I enjoy which are semi custom knives and high end flashlights.

With the exception of few heirloom pieces in a safety box, this is The Collection right now guys. I been quiet lately, selling off a lot of things. Came down to owning too many watches that were just sitting in drawers because I had no time to wear them. It almost felt like a sin to have these things that weren't getting love. Not because I did not like them but I just did not have time to enjoy everything I own. I kept 4 that I felt were different enough and its more then enough. Been doing a bi weekly rotation and I feel its the perfect amount of time to wear one watch. With the money from the things I sold off I was able to donate a little to my favorite local charity and have enough left over to book a cruise trip for my 5th anniversary for the wife. So I do miss some watches but all and all its a win-win and I feel good!

Kudos and hats off to you JP..
that's an awesome move you did there.. and that 4 watches are really stunning selection... if i were you, those 4 watches plus a g-shock would be more than luxury for this lifetime..

Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.
