You've got so many great looking Chinese watches. Did you look up the Chinese days of the week to set that one? 😃

I've been so vehemently anti quartz thru my watch journey, it's funny I can't pry this one off my wrist.

    Thanks Wayne!
I did actually learn the days of the week in Chinese just to be able to set this correctly.

    Quite easy:

First two signs is the word for week (literally it's Star Period), then just the number. So Monday is Star Period One

Mon-Wed is really easy, then if I don't remember the others I can just count up from there

I figured you just needed to know a day or two and you could just count from there.

That's me 2 years a go.Now i just want to "grab and go". No more setting daily etc. All my recent purchases (accept the Sumo) were quartz. Yours is TC right? Once you go HAQ you can't go back

I have a winder and not enough watches, so everything is grab and go for me 😆

I'm not sure if this is the 1666C HAQ movement. I've already contacted the service center about sending this for service to repair the backlight. It's my understanding that they replace the movements with the HAQ version at service.

Although I know I'll be happy with the results, I hate to be without the watch for a few months.
