    Welcome to Digitals!

Hi everyone, just wanted to give a quick welcome to the forum. While I'm a dive watch guy at heart, I have a fairly wide-ranging collection of digital watches from brands such as Casio, Seiko, Suunto, Polar, Nike, and Garmin. I currently do not own a smart watch, but when the time (and price!) is right, I'll make the jump into something that plays well with my Samsung Galaxy S5. In the meantime, here's a pic of my flagship digital. A Suunto Core that has accompanied me on countless outdoor adventures.

Hi Gabe, good to see you! Nice Core! Gotta get me one, too some day.

    Cheers, Sedi

Not sure what my "flagship" digital would be, since I have a ton of G-Shocks, as well As a good sample from Timex, Suunto, Polar, Garmin and Freestyle among others.

I suppose the non-Casio digital that gets the most wrist time is my "go to" running watch – the Garmin Forerunner FR 210.

It has been acting up lately. The lap reset button does not seem to function properly most of the time. It often simply "ignores" button presses when I am trying to mark a lap. also, when I attempt to reset the watch after a run, to store that run in the watch's memory, the 210 keeps asking me if I want to "shut down". I have become reasonably addicted to uploading and recording my runs – even though they are fairly routine two and three mile sessions.

I am going to try a "master reset". If that does not cure the problem, I may be in the market for a new "go to" running watch.

I have a bunch of LE Casio G-Shock watches, but my favorite has to be my newest G-Shock...my Rangeman! This thing is awesome!! It's features are fantastic and it's size/fit is perfect!

Not sure if you can call it "the pinnacle", the "Frogman" line has that distinction amongst the collecting community...but the size of those is just prohibitive for my wrist size (7.25 inches) and many others IMO, so the Rangeman line may be the next best choice!!
