Excellent! I fix eggs no other way. Whether it was sausage or bacon, I'll put the meat in the oven at 170oF so it stays warm and cook the eggs in the grease.

Grew up on that stuff.
True story: my mother collected red river box tops in secret and gave to me, as a gift, a red river sweatshirt they were giving away through a box top promotion. Such a dorky thing, but I was elated and wore it into tatters. Then I washed my first car with those tatters. I'm Scottish, I have a hard time throwing stuff out. Ideally I would have washed my car with those tatters until they were a shapeless mass, and then boiled that shapeless mass into a paste that I then ate for breakfast with cream and brown sugar. Circle of life.
I went to the grocery store last night for the first time since you posted this. I HAD to buy Red River.

Love biryani
If it's hyderabadi it better be spicy

Don't you worry about that. I've got it covered. Lots of black cardamom and cumin for bitter, fresh jalapenos and dried Hungarians and cayennes for heat, and black pepper and nutmeg for bite. Mrs. K is often not a fan of "too spicy" but there are certain things like Ethiopian Berbere and biryani that are different. If she is not genuinely dizzy from the heat for these things, I have failed.

Thanks Geoff. Tight pictures of spice generally look good, in my opinion.
