I wasn't thinking when I went to the grocery store this morning. I should have picked up some cucumbers to make a Hungarian cuke salad!
Imma make chicken paprikash with spaetzle this weekend.

Just ordered some 16 oz bags of salt. Both tamise grain
Fumee de sel, sea salt smoked with oak Chardonnay barrel wood.
Sel gris, sea salt from France. Dried in salt ponds. Gives it the color and a very nice earth flavor.

Are you going to cook that bacon?
I just put some in the oven
Extra thick. Kroger grocery sells this at the meat counter for $4.99 lb. $2 cheaper than the cheapest grody packaged stuff!
For those across the pond, I think it works out to something like £3.86 a ltr. or €4.53 a hectare.
Don't know what's going with it yet.
