Just landed a Pelikan m800. Perhaps a little rich, but I had to have one nice, thick pen with two-tone nib. It does not disappoint. A lot of pens I have solid gold or rhodium plated gold or stainless. A nice two-tone nib is refreshing.

Will try to do so this weekend. Inked it with Pelikan smokey quartz. That makes for an interesting brownish color. The nib is a M with no modification. Well done straight from the factory!

A picture of my new Pelikan. The blue of the cap did not really come out, but the barrel looks close to authentic.

    Cheers!

Decent service from Cross when my paint started flaking. They charged me £6 handling which was okay I guess. New pen, preferable to the skinny waterman I've been using.
