    Zodiac Olympos

I've got to stay off eBay. I found this 1960s Zodiac Olympos for a steal. The small, silver hands are not easy to read on the patina-ed silver dial, but I really like the uniqueness of the watch. The hexagonal shaped case certainly stands out, and in a good way. Too good a deal and too interesting a watch to pass up.

the assymetrical kind of coffin shape case is certainly unusual and very cool too - they made good interesting models then - maybe you can bring it back to something like this ! Name: s-l400.jpg

I've always kept my vintage watches in the "original" condition; I get the movement serviced but I tend to leave the case alone. This one might be different. I think I'm going to have this one "re-done" and return it to its former glory. The hands are difficult to read against that dial and I think some cosmetic work may be in order for this one. It's really pretty cool looking.
