    Another newbie but a question....

Got this nice Screwback with the mail today.

    DW-5600C

    Nice condition and great price.

But I'm a little surprised regarding the display.

    It is greenish/golden.

My other golden version of the 5600C haven't this greenish/golden display.

    Any thoughts guys ?
Is it another version of the 5600c-9cv ?

Or there were two versions of this one in the past ?
    Regards Phil

    Congrats Phil. Another great classic.

I'm not sure about the display either. Sedi or Mac might know.

As far as i know the golden version has the golden tinted display.
Its the same for the current DW-5600EG vs. DW-5600E.

So the gold accent 5600C with un-tinted display might be a frankenwatch.

    Thanks for your thoughts mac.

But I often see the golden version with the normal display.
Looks like there are a lot of Frankenwatches out there.
