    Your almost perfect watch?

Sooo I stare and stare at this watch. It is perfect in every respect in my eye...except one...at 38mm it is too small for my fat wrist.

The larger versions loose the proportions or add the extra dial... I saw this across a shop in NYC and fell in love till I got close and saw how small it is....

Even with that i still look at it all the time. I have a problem....

How about you? Whats your almost perfect watch...how much does it still tempt you?

As someone who likes flying, I used to own one of those.

And while it is a great looking watch, it is rather large and quite unusable. I almost never used its features, and over time, I found it gaudy and excessive.

This is my almost perfect watch (Patek 5070G). The only downside I can come up with is the price.

Oh, I've liked that particular one for a very long time, only with the dark dial:

This is the one that started it all for me. And after 10 or so years, it still "does it" for me. Certainly not as versatile as some (no good in a "dress" setting), but I still stare at it sometimes. Ultra coolness IMO.

    Regards, T Bone

Even a broken watch shows correct time once or twice a day. I ought to know, I have a few!
