    well saving up for something so about just over half way maybe a bit under maybe but getting the shakes for a new buy so will I be good and wait till I have saved enough or go blow what I got or buy a couple of parts for my builds and save the rest and add to it as funds become available so lets have a bit of fun got £95 at the minute saved so far have you seen any thing tempting ? going to complete leave this one open on specs only thing firm is the price at the minute so what caught your eye ?

    Vintage Seiko bellmatic alarm can be had for that (it's what I sold mine for a year ago, they seem to have gone up a bit since then but still). Charming, useful complication.

    funnily enough nearly went for something very similar but it was in japan so was concern about import duties

    yeah been looking at the Everest watch almost hit the buy button Tuesday but thought best get the money together first .. but I keep going backwards and forwards on whether to buy it just can't decide and been awhile since I bought a Russian

    I might have a slightly different suggestion, if you don't mind. Since you like - and have the skills - to build your own watches, how about a timegrapher to help you adjust and regulate them?

    I haven't your knowledge but still, I use the timegrapher often, keeping the watches in check. Actually, it can be fun. Hmmm...... I'm weird...

    yeah been meaning to get one for ages but kinda like my hit and miss approach to regulating should get one but I always think but that like enough to get a watch but like your out the box thinking
