    I agree. It looks much more golden on the product pics but the background is amber and really makes the digits pop. I did search for some proper pics online before pulling the trigger. Wouldn't have bought this version just judging from Casio's official pics .

    Thanks . The AE-3000 is really cool IMO. Huge, functional, nerdy. And its module is an improvement over the one found in the AE-1000 and the other "world map"-models. Especially nice is the European date format DD/MM you can choose. Not many Casios do that.
