Aged rum can be so yummy. I had the chance to drink some 21 year old this year, which is only the second oldest commercial rum. Appleton's has a 50 year old rum.

I'll drink most things, and run in a cocktail for sure. But neat? I'd just be wishing it were scotch.

Not drinking anything right now (it’s 0755 and I have a bit of a hangover), but I can warmly recommend this

Fascinating on why we drink what we do (eg Brits and tea) but also the role of the different drinks in history, from ancient Babylon onwards

US/UK preferences in spirits are due in part to our colonial tax policies, btw

    Very quotable
The 6 drinks: beer, wine, spirits, coffee, tea, coke
It's the final countdown! PM me before they're all gone!

So, I think Rum is my new favorite drink of choice, yes, Geoffers, even over Bourbon.

    Picked this up yesterday...so good.

Too extreme for me, have to dilute it with rum.

I'm loving the porters and stouts right now - so much more flavour than even decent ales.
