    Sorry for your lost Wayne... i have lost my dogs in the past due to old age or sickness and never get any easy every single time... for me -- dogs are family member, not just pets..

    Thanks, Iyonk. It was difficult to say goodbye, but were we lucky to have him with us for almost 12 yrs. We miss him a lot right now.

    I am sorry, but I understand. Our labs are 11 and almost 10. That time is probably much closer than I want to think.
