    Well, i was able to afford an ST8000-based tourby for 1/100 of that price.... but i think I'll stop at that. Sounds like Citizen's acquisition of Journe is starting something.
    Too many watches, not enough wrists.

    It does sound like that, but it seems that Journe wasn't involved. The movement has some similarities to Hajime Asaoka’s Project T Tourbillon. Asaoka says 'no comment'.

    Indeed, I also read that. Referring more to corporate aspirations. Interesting also that it's $20k more than Asaoka's... which makes one start to guesstimate what the royalty might be.
    Too many watches, not enough wrists.
