Happy 150th to all our friends north of the border!

Wearing the Glycine on its perfect new Iyonk strap. And one of my sillier t-shirts, a gift from my daughter last year.

Happy 150th Canada Day to my fellow Canucks. I woke up to the almost unheard of occurence here of fog. A couple of Canada Geese graced me with their presence.

With the arrival of the three straps yesterday I now have more than half a dozen Iyonk straps, but one of those yesterday was a first for me. The premium Horween strap. I am heading out for a short holiday after the weekend so I won't be able to play with the new straps as much as I would like, but I can certainly give at least one a try. Even though the black strap was specifically commissioned for the Longines here's my first combo.

The Horween is a lovely colour and very, very comfortable. I understand it should have some nice ageing qualities, which I look forward to discovering.

    Glad you like it Henry!!

i have tried some of this material, even though it is not thick, but i've test its strength and seem super strong& durable.. i will make and experiment more with these leather...
i personally like it.. but i have shown it to some of my local friends and they said the material lack of "gloss and sheen" , also lack of substantial thickness.. well, i cant please everybody..

as a bron and black guy.. i personally really diggin' this combo Henry!

Thanks, Chris. It's legible, accurate and reliable, just the way I like them.
