Fun little project today. I am printing CDS to look like grubby old 45s, including putting three dimensional grooves onto the surface.

Small one wasn't even able to grip the shoulders.

Anyone look into Shinola bags? They look very expensive ($800-1000) and not that impressive to look at. I'm seeing more and more why Saddleback is a relative bargain.

Also, does anyone know where I can get those bags that clothing stores use when they ship orders to you? I want to sell some of my stuff, including some of my extra messenger bags, and I don't want to get a box for each one--that'll probably increase my shipping costs. I don't think there are any flat rate USPS boxes that will fit these.

Why would their business model for bags be any different than their business model for watches?

Wouldn't it be extra cool if the grooves could actually play music?
There are a few bridges that have grooves in the pavement that are spaced to play music when you drive over them. I think Peter Gabriel was involved with one (in Wisconsin perhaps?) that plays "Solsbury Hill"
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

It would be. My electro accousitic musician friend up here does a lot of converting into music. He made a photo booth that not only takes your picture, but turns the histogram of that picture into notes. Maybe he could do something. Either that or an incredibly accurate vector file of actual grooves.
