Thought I had commented on this already, but apparently not.

Congrats on a great piece (well all the new additions). We do however need more pics of the Lange..

Oh @vkalia any word on the Mil-Spec? Should we keep posting in-depth reviews to troll you?

Hehe, no word on it yet. The dealer is 100% sure he is getting a couple of units, and while i havent dealt with them, a friend has bought a couple of high end pieces, including a precious metal Breguet alarm, from them and say they are good at their word. So not pulling the panic button yet. Still, I am happy to see from your other post that 2 units are sitting unsold in China - hopefully, that means that there wont be as much of a crunch on these as Blancpain expected.

That aside - and i dont just say this because of the wait - how idiotic is it that they announce a watch and 8 months later, still arent able to get it to their customers? Is this in any way, shape or form a "luxury experience"? As is, the reality is that this Blancpain is a zombie brand and there is no real connection to the original - ok, we choose to ignore that in order to enjoy the narrative, but FFS, in which other industry do customers have to wait for months in order to pay such an absurd amount for a shiny trinket?

Thank you, sir. It has been put away for now, though, and will only enter my regular rotation from Nov 11, the wedding day. Y'all will get inundated with photos after that, dont worry.

The Oris divers are appealing. I saw the 65 (40mm with funky numbers) in the metal, and it was even cooler then. I could see wearing one someday. I don't care for the looks of the Blancpain. I know..

So no news is still good news. I was a little bit surprised that neither one was sold at the Boutique. I thought they would have been snapped up. Then again I don't know how popular Blancpain is here.

As for announcing a product at it taking many months for it to arrive, Blancpain is not alone in doing this. Omega with the Railmaster, I don't know how many 1815 AC are in the wild (actually now that I think of it, I have not seen any photos of it), and the list goes on. The companies know people like are us are junkies and believe that by making us wait we will be more likely to buy.
