looks like I was about right looking at the links :

but had some vintage cccp in my time too ..

some are nice looking but the whole thing of being made in hk and Japanese movements leaves a bad taste in my mouth really as a making money out of the Russia name and look does not seem very communism to me

same as the vostok europe made in Lithuania and again with Japanese movements

Don't know why P I dropped the brand name, or whether sold. Some of theirs were under the clicking finger many times. Julian had many a few years ago.
Now just a brand.
