What is a "true" Beijing? A Beijing watch made by the company themselves rather than assembled by another group?

We're normally not that strict with those types of things... So a celadon for instance would fit in nicely.

Sorry, I'm completely ignorant of that terminology. What's a celadon? I'd seen reference to "true" watches in this or other threads. Hope the question doesn't seem totally out of the blue.

There is a company called Celadon. They did an Imperial watch that is using Beijing cases and movement. Have a few other models also with parts by Beijing
But I guess answering your original question. A true Beijing is branded Beijing watch company. But we have all watches associated with bwaf in this thread, so also Shuanling, double rhomb and other rebranded watches

Probably, saw quite a few, what I believe was new, quartz on seagulls tmall last time I checked though.
