My SSC is much happier with its new battery cell
I hate that it needs a specific battery with custom seiko bits fixed to it, though I get putting a non rechargeable cell in there would be a bad move

wonder whether it's worth bothering with or just to sell it with mine

I always remember the time I spent out for a solar battery for a g shock I was fixing. the battery cost like a tenner or something and when I sold the watch I just cover the cost of the battery and not much else

how much are they for the scc ?

£14.50, just glad I was able to do it myself, who knows what a shop would charge

Had mine sunbathing for over a fortnight without any sign of life. But as I wanted to keep it I felt it was worth the cost
