    so for some reason my trench watch has suddenly broke

    just don't get it put it on last night and this morning was working fine then took if off for a while as I was doing dinner then washing up and when came back to it . nothing and I can't see why that is the case

    Sorry to hear that mate . It was the same with my 1963 re issue, wound it, went to work and about two hours later it just stopped for no reason whatsoever. It’s gutting when it happens. I feel you pain mate

    Well, I’ve been really busy while I’ve been off. We’ve had a sagging floor in the dining room due to rotting joists so I’ve had to cut out all the rot, fit new joists and floorboards. Now I’m not what you’d call a competent diy’er by any stretch of the imagination so it’s been a real steep learning curve for me. I’ve got the last floorboard to finish tomorrow then the jobs done.
    Haven’t worn the fibbi for ages so I thought I’d give it a whirl as it was showing the correct date
