Thread: Anyone used Timpsons for watch repairs?

you can get all the kit to fix it and a crystal too for less than the cost of a repair. For example:

measure the crystal carefully and then use someone like Cousins - if it's not a standard fitting they usually do something,

I know it says trade only, but they are very helpful and don't ask.

Thanks. Not sure I'm brave enough to try that...

Upshot is that I visited the Timpsons and the man told me that they didn't do that kind of repair on the premises.
Via the magic of Google I found this place a 5 minute bike ride from where I work.

Popped in there today and they seemed really good. They quoted my £20 which didn't seem outrageous, so the watch is with them for a week or so. If the results are good I can see me using them again.
