Billions
Watched the latest episode of Billions, and during the episode one of the main characters goes into Wempe in NYC and purchases a Patek 5270R. The watch gets a couple of quick closeups, both front and back, before the character purchases it on the spot at full retail price ($165,000).

Well, shucks, it's only $125K at Gemnation. Who wants a bargain?

Too many watches, not enough wrists.

You can bet that it has, and a Wempe shop somewhere in the world is a likely location.

One of the Wempe salespeople told me her best sale ever was around a million dollars. Bonus season on Wall Street probably sees a few similar sales.

Everything is relative. Buying a 5270R for a Wall Street trader is like you or me buying a Zodiac...

Maybe, but they're too dumb to recognize a great watch.
Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Actually, I have a Wall Street job. And Broker is also a...wait for it...broker.
jeepdad is an analyst I believe.
One of our product partners at work is a real watch guy too. WIS can be found in all walks of life.
