Among the little pleasures in life includes doing my own battery swaps in the handful of quartzes in the hoard. The Certina chrono pooped out a few weeks ago, and I finally got the right coin cell. One of my favorite chronograph movements, the ETA 251.262 with center minutes counter and 100th seconds subdial, a serious stopwatch in a classy titanium package.

Too many watches, not enough wrists.

We are supposed to have a couple of days of cooler weather, so I get to wear a couple of the watches that have been neglected due to the heat. Starting the week with the Avant Garde.

Except for my vegetable garden, nothing in the yard gets any water from me. An overnight rainstorm has the yard looking nice and green.
