    got to admit olde for me is a prob. , prefer new as less agro, and 3133 is brill (touch wood )

    do like the pukka Strela, prefere the new sapphire 42mm though.

    What are your thoughts guys/gals

    well it's a funny one I like my 3133 always wanted a 3017 ..

    then when i saw it in the flesh I was a bit underwhelmed ..yet of late my itch for one has returned

    The 3017 is definitely vintage sized, and clearly knocking on a bit by now (mine is a late one going by the serial number, but still, 1979 is nearly 40 years ago


    Since trying Dave’s Shturmanskie at the Brum GTG I realised that there *are* 3133s that I can wear, the subwave being the coolest I found



    but I have to say, if I can find/wear the real deal, I do

    I was frustrated that the box crystal of my civvie 3133 made it too big for me



    and the 3133 powered Strelas probably wouldn’t work for me either - their straightish lugs would just sit too high on my wrist

    TL;DR
    small wrist, authenticity fiend: 3017
    bigger wrist, more chilled: 3133

    Also:
    3017: black, more common, less faked
    or no tachy white if your nerves hold out

    3133: Cyrillic White dial for the looks

    One that works very well is the de-tuned 3105... pity a date though
