    Zissou Amphibian

    Does anyone know if the watch worn by Zissou in film is a black or blue dial? Also when did that dial style come out? Was it during the USSR or after?

    not sure now I did a thread on the film will find the link to it and there is a vostok list I can find later with all the models on it with dates ..will see what I can find out

    if I remember right the black dial and was they not made especial for the film

    The link seems to indicate that it was made special for the film but I was thinking that dial had come out in the Soviet era.

    well the amphibian 1967 did I think but think that actually dial was made for the movies ..but I can check some thing if I can find it ..it has the most complete list of vostok dials and when done ..but can't think which link it is in ...
