    Tired 70's? Sekonda automatic

    Got this for £10.

The crystal needs a polish, the case and bracelet needs a dip in the ultrasonic bath, the hands need reluming and the rotor is noisy.

However, when trying to remove the caseback after undoing the retaining ring, it is stuck fast. The gasket is trashed and won't let go.

Where can I get a caseback gasket for this? It's not a normal rubber one but a wide'ish washer type.

Not yet pulled the caseback away completely.
Will do later and take pics and measurements if possible.

just thinking size wise would an old vostok o-ring fit it and you can pick up faulty vostok cheap or even a vostok o-ring itself from the bay cheap like from zenitar or some where like that

    for example

Dug it out and pried it open.

    Gasket
    Outer diameter 33mm
    Inner diameter 30mm

    Movement. Dirty but running strong.

Tried to take a pic of mark under balance.

BTW whats the button for next to crown?

Sorry, wasn't a very well asked question.

What I meant to ask was, what is the button above the crown on the side of the case?

I'll keep an eye out for the Amphibian gasket. Thanks again.
