    It was sold to me as a 1962 (birth year) watch, and I was a bit miffed when I found out it wasn't; but I got over that and I'm keeping it anyway because it is rather nice.
    I want to spruce it up as the case is a bit scratched, but my 'If it ain't broke...' mindset won't let me..... yet !

    Thanks , I got it pre-owned from a dude in Ireland, shortly after getting the Black dialled one (which I got brand new)

    The money went missing in transit, for a long time. Then the seller realised it’d been paid into his credit card account ..... I think

    All the more wearable now, I got a replacement crown (screw down had failed) and even more so now it’s on a Guinand strap _
