Oh, well, except for Crackers problems, the rest doesn't matter.

Ah.. like I said, only Cracker's troubles really bother me. The rest is just, whatever. The furnace was 13 years old. We knew the end would come one of these years.

With his age and how long he's had diabetes it's mostly about managing his condition and keeping him happy and comfortable.
