    Another giveaway, inspired by Micor.

Micor recently gave away a beautiful watch, and that inspired me to do the same ... but with a twist.

We all post our watches on a regular basis, however, rarely do I see one comment; "this is my favorite".

    Let's fix that....

To win, please post your very favorite, # 1watch you can't live without, and let us know why in as much detail as possible. After a couple of weeks, we will let the IWL crew decide who delivered the most passionate, compelling post in a poll, and to the winner will go...

I'm looking forward to seeing the responses....let's get creative my IWL friends.

    All the best,

    Walter

Very nice, Walter! I am going to let others participate though, since (1) I certainly don't need another watch; and (2) it would be like trying to pick my favorite child from my two!

This might be hard. My favourite watch and I are a bit like an old married couple that is still in love: our relationship is quiet and understated. It's been my favourite watch for 6 or 7 years now.

probably not in it for the win got to many and am STILL downsizing but I like this time to look back on our collection this normal changes each time round but theirs always one that makes it in to the top ten or even top three, it's nothing special the fix lugs reduces the options on what it can wear but it still their in the top five it was the first watch to get worn for long periods of time in one go since well good ten years or so ago might have had a main watch then a few going out ones , and a box of old ones under the bed , I digress from the main point.. THE ONE WATCH but I am guessing you all know what one I am going for no muss no fuss just quietly reliable doing one thing well telling the time.... yeah course you know what it is so a few pics guessing it's my most worn watch

What a great gesture Walter! very kind of you..

there's a new rule in my country postal that effective next month that make me can not receive any more watches/things valued more than $75 from abroad.. a huge bummer for me..
i still want to participate, but since i would not be able to receive anything from abroad, IF i ever win, i will let the members to have that lovely Bambino..
    so i'm IN!

Right now my most fav watch is my Alan's Smiths.. i'm very careful with it since i want to preserve it as best as i could.. it would be next to impossible to have this watch if Alan didn't go to extra miles to gave me the deal and make sure i got it.. it is my most coveted watch by my friends.. and it fit me wonderfully.. it is legible and run superbly well.. i just love this watch..
if i have to stuck with one watch.. i would be more than fine with this one..

    This is my favourite because

    1. Bracelet - waterproof, lasts forever, doesn't need to match leathers, doesn't get sweaty
    2. Date - can't live without one, well-executed in the dial
    3. Lume (though not perfect)
    4. 150m wr so happy to swim in it
    5. Nice details - applied indeces and logo, teak dial adds depth
    6. Bit of brand cachet never hurt
    7. Perfect size in my wrist
    8. It's my only watch
