yeah 36-38mm would be stellar, but i think the movement requires a 40mm case

I've read in the comments on a YT review that the hand-wind version uses the Seagull ST6. In that case I'm out. Too expensive for the movement but true to it's origins. I had one of those plastic "Camper" models in OD green with a cheap hand-wound mvt. I liked it but the movement was certainly not even on the same level as a Seiko 7S26. AFAIk it was a pin pallet mvt. I think it's nice they are releasing something like this but IMO the market for low-end mechanical watches is already in the hands of Seiko, Citizen and Orient. I still might get a mechanical Timex if they release the Camper with a hand-wound or automatic movement, similar to the one I had as a kid.

I've always had a soft spot for Timex, but that seconds hand really needs another couple of mm in length.
