It's a monster day with our first snow. Only about 8" though, just a dusting.

Old pic taken on a sunny, summer day...

With all the talk about the snow, I believe I should add one more local weather information: 11º - 19ºC, clean sky and only a residual suggestion of wind.

Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Can you share any info on your strap? Very nice!!

Ah...Rachacha...we lived there '77-'81. The winter of '77-'78 was brutal. Snow "closed the city" 3 times. Something like 150" and none of it melted until March.

Well the high-beat Longines Ultra-Chron is back from service.

And Vancouver weather is one of the mildest in Canada. Though we usually trade snow for non-stop rain, it's pretty nice today.

The Speedy Split Seconds (apparently the 'Rattrapente' is a later model but they are both the same complication) is going to be late. Canada Post is in a contract dispute and they just made a request for foreign postal services to delay sending mail as they have a 30 DAY backlog due to job action. I bought the above Longines from the same Japanese seller. Between it leaving Japan and me picking it up, it was 6 days total. Not going to be happening with the Omega. Ugh...
