Sorry, can't help; I have nothing that 'qualifies' on this one.

The PRS-40 never held any appeal for me + the 53mm lug to lug was off-putting; so I was never tempted (like with the 'Seafire' ).

The designer of the PRS-40 offered it to Ernie Romers at WUS. The idea was that it could be badged ‘WUS’ and sold through the forum.

Ernie showed it to the moderators and we told him to turn it down because nobody would want one. Shortly afterwards it appeared as a proposal at TZ-UK. Eddie Platts usually generates his own designs but took it on.

yeah some days think it's cool and different other days not so much thats why I never went for it but if I saw one for the right price on the bay think I might grab it just to see what it was like

I don't know about the PRS40, but I really like my Seafire. It's turned out to be impressively robust. I used it for snorkelling in Malta last year and it was excellent.

It's also both a handsome watch and delightfully easy to read. I also really like the ticking quartz.

liked it but at the same time was worrying of damaging it and the double tick was off putting if honest
