Nomos is not a brand known for taking huge leaps. Instead, the Glashütte firm takes incremental steps to grow and improve its catalog. Take the Club collection. Introduced as Nomos’ sporty-yet-tasteful point of entry into the brand, the Club, after years in Nomos’ lineup, experienced its most significant aesthetic shakeup in 2017 in the form of the Club Campus. Since then, Nomos has iterated on the line to great effect, and this week Nomos has announced three new and distinct colorways (with some other notable changes, too).
The first significant change worth noting is that all three models fall under the neomatik umbrella, which means that they all come equipped with Nomos’ in-house DUW 3001 automatic caliber. Though not new to the Club family, this is the first time we’re seeing neomatik watches within the Campus line. To learn more about the DUW 3001, click here.*

Let’s take a look at the three watches. The first is the Club Campus neomatik Ref. 748. This one comes with a galvanized white/silver-plated dial featuring silver Super-Luminova, and rose gold hands with white Super-LumiNova. The 748 case is the smallest of the three at 37 millimeters across and it’s rated to 200 meters, as are the next two watches.

Next up is the Club Campus neomatik 39 Ref. 765. This one comes with a galvanized white/silver-plated dial featuring dark-blue Super-LumiNova, and rhodium-plated hands with white Super-LumiNova.

Finally, there’s the Club Campus neomatik 39 midnight blue with a midnight-blue dial featuring light-blue Super-LumiNova, and rose gold hands with white Super-LumiNova. This one looks to be the most versatile and it is my favorite of the group (who doesn’t love gold hands against a midnight blue dial).

The last two references come in cases measuring 39.5 millimeters across, which means that there are now four distinct case sizes in the Campus collection (36, 37, 38.5, and 39.5). To be perfectly honest, offering four case sizes a millimeter apart from one another is rather confounding, and I say that as someone who can be a stickler over a millimeter or two.

In addition to the three new watches, Nomos has also released a metal bracelet. It’s not fitted to the case, but instead features straight endlinks not unlike a Milanese strap. Instead of fine links, however, this bracelet has slats, which give it a decidedly old-school look. As someone who loves Milanese bands, I dig it.
The Nomos Club Campus*Ref. 748 is priced at $2,780, Ref. 767 is priced at $2,980, and Ref. 765 is priced at $3,020. All three are available for purchase now. Nomos
