1989 Seiko quartz, heavily worn. Gift from my wife when new. We treasure some things because of the people we love. (Once in 2005, I was wearing this when I had a big injury. When I came back from the hospital, I accidentally put this through a full washer and dryer cycle, in the pocket of the pants I had been wearing. The seconds hand fell off and the battery died, but after a quick patch it still ticks like a champ.)

Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Eterna Soleure. Doesn’t exactly slide under a shirt cuff, the 7751 is just too tall, but I still wear it to the office because it’s just so darn pretty.

This is about as hard to photograph as a Rado. A phone just doesn’t work. Henry’s pictures really do it justice.
I'd Schwarzkopf it daily, except I couldn't be bothered with the inevitable explanations...

Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

So a week in - and a fairly punishing week it was with five swims and/or surfs - and the Captain has lost a total of 25 seconds. I will probably use a NATO next time around in the water. Rado could do better with the bracelets and clasps. They could put some springs in them or at least offer some kind of micro adjustment. The Zodiac bracelets with their spring mechanisms are awesome in the water and all the others feel like, well, bracelets.
