    Omega launched this ref. ST 145.020 in 1969. They had a white seconds chronograph hand, which was not very readable. Soon they replaced it with the orange one my piece shows. Gray and blue dials were also added and a more expensive model with an inner rotating bezel, still demands a relatively high price in the pre-owned market. All of them were a bit extravagant, but it was the 70s. .

    Together with the original Speedy MK II and the flightmaster, they're my Omega eccentric trio

    After being lost by UPS for most of Friday this finally came this morning. I have a GS again in the collection.
