Same director as Shaun of the dead and hot fuzz.
Baby Driver was excellent. Edgar Wright's directorial masterpiece for sure.

I think Shaun of the dead was better.

    1. It wasn't.
    2. And as a directorial showcase, Shaun of the Dead wasn't all that special. It was an excellent movie (though not as good as Hot Fuzz; but we're splitting hairs here--Hot Fuzz, Shaun, and Baby Driver were all excellent. I don't know why The World's End was so poor though), but it was, at its core, mostly a spoof. It borrowed from the genres on which the movie was based. Baby Driver was completely original, the syncing of the music to the action was fantastic, many of the shots were interesting, and as an action movie, it was very well directed in a way that is unique--no other movies quite look like it. As a showcase of Wright's skill and talent as a director, Baby Driver showed off more of what Wright can do than Shaun of the Dead did. It's not necessarily about what is a better/funnier/whatever movie, it's more what shows off the talents of the director the most, and I think Baby Driver does that more than anything else Wright has done.

IMDB scores are the football transfer rumors of movie ratings.

    I would agree with this.

Side note: Did you catch the Nick Frost cameo?
