Mark XV for me....Personally, I think that the newer cases are a bit larger than I'd like. The older 36-38mm cases are just
And I also like the older handset, more interesting visually and goes well with the dial!

Pic of the Mark XV next the reissue, you can see the size difference.

Reminds me of the Sinn vintage lume pilot. Too much white on the dial makes the vintage lume look strange. I’m no longer a stranger to patina lume, but it can be done wrong, as IWC has shown here.

I have to agree. And now that 21mm lugs don’t bother me, this is back on the table for me. Down the road, of course.

IWC probably should have done all the print in patina, although it isn't a deal breaker for me.

What about his guy? Although it isn't the new in-house movement it it doesn't have the partial patina and being 43mm vs 41mm no numerals are nibbled off. I want to know more about the in-house movement to see if that makes all the difference.

I have a feeling the 43mm version wears huge because of the large dial.

You are right. I tried a 43mm version. 41mm or 42mn seems ideal for this watch.

These two I really like but not found of the 43mm size. Also not found of the top gun logo on the case back.

Always a bump in the road. The 43mm case has a 21mm strap. Ugh.
