OK. So, I said this model was calling to me.
GMWB-5000-1 has arrived. Second G-Shock purchase in one week. (Thanks IWL, my wallet loves you.)
Managed to tweak something in my back this morning. Spasming. So far I’ve mostly laid in bed, so these shots are at a weird angle in bad artificial light.
So far, so good with this one. Bluetooth connection was seamless and easy. The shiny raised bezel looks like it may easily get scratched up. I’ll live with that, it is a G-Shock after all.

Regarding my Protrek - there is an even cooler version with the same module - the PRW-50 but so far I only saw a promotional video of it and it's nowhere for sale.
