I'll just double-up on Cybotron's Ulysse Nardin that showed up out of order in the alphabet. I would happily accept this Marine Chronometer 38mm as a birthday present. It's for sale now on another forum.... drool.

Well, there's YES watches, with all sorts of astronomical features. I was once fascinated by these, and I wouldn't mind getting one as a gift. (Probably wouldn't buy it though.)

Technically, it was a comic book many, many years before it was a movie. The X-Men debuted in 1963, man. How have you not heard of them?
