4K UHD TV sets

Hi

Any tv savvy members out there?
I'm thinking of upgrading our old 70in Sharp Quatron to a newer 4K set
I'm going for a 75in set (we sit 16 ft away from the set).
I am willing to spend 2K for it, what would you get?

1.- TCL 6 Series 75"
2.- LG Nano 8

Any ideas?

I'm not very savvy, but I have a

Sony X900F Series 49" 4k UHD. I love it. It's all I was willing to spend at 1000.00. My cable provider doesn't offer 4k content, but it does shine on Netflix as well as blue ray discs. Full array back-lit display led which provides super black blacks and zero back light bleed. Very impressed with this Sony. B&H offers it in a 75 inch, but it's 2700.00.

Thanks! Sony makes great TV's , out of my price range at the size I want. Maybe I should sit closer to the TV.

I'm in the AV business and the consensus is that the LG OLED sets are the best of the bunch right now, as well as the aforementioned Sony displays that are quite good as well.

Samsung used to be the king amongst videophiles, however, their QLED technology lags behind the OLED picture quality.

OLED is stunning even from across the store. Does an OLED panel have a short lifespan?

LG is claiming 100,000 hours...not a problem like the original plasma displays. OLED is the first technology, since plasma, that gets a great picture with true black levels, no/minimal motion artifacts and proper color temp capable. Way better than any LED set, ever.

I still have a plasma, top of the line Panasonic from years ago as I could not stand LED displays, and I plan on getting an LG OLED end of summer.
