I think there is always a market for well thought out LE pieces. I know Omega has Speedied us to death but IMO it is hard to argue with some of the results like the Silver Snoopy, CK2992 and the 45th Aniv. Apollo 11. I was less thrilled with the Speedy Tuesday and the Ultraman which are color variations of the CK2992. The past two year of LE moon watches leave a lot to be desired.

Having been part of many of the Topper LE I know these were done to show some creativity or bring back something from the past. I do not know what the motivation from other sources are but I’m proud of the watch’s Toppers has let me be part of. Funny I really don’t like the ones I have not contributed to.

Personally I’d take a standard Bathyscape or standard FF over these BP LEs. Without the extra finishing touches the prices need to be substantially lower for me to begin to entertain one. It’s possible may of those sales are for people who feel they contributed to the watch. This I can understand.
